Following Nijima's removal from Micras, former Vyktory international James Ecclestone has gained Craitish citizenship. The Diamonds defender's allegiance switched to Nijima after it succeeded Hoenn, whose citizenship he gained following the death of Vyktory in late 2018, last year

The completion of 2020's CiboTap and Copa Apollonia has seen two nations be replaced by official successor teams, meaning an update of four League 1 players' eligibility:
The league's two Florian Republic natives are now players for Floria; namely goalkeeping duo Patrick Marshall of the Teflons and Connor Bates of the Aztecs.
The succession of Castilona from North Antarctica means that ZK's Andrew Young and the Teflons' Martin Vanderkaay will be eligible for the team following its rename and shift to the EMUFA.

Prior to the beginning of the 2020 season, two notable nations departed from Micras, resulting in ZK's Ocian-born, Corian-adopted goalie Rok Celcer switching eligibility to Mishalacia, while Eĵars Town winger Jarosław Brzęczyszczykiewicz will now represent Merenolitovina after his adopted Freeland's removal.

Three League 1 players briefly switched international eligibility during a short period in which their adopted homeland was not on Micras. The North Antarctic Domain has since returned to the FMF following a short hiatus, with HóC's Simon Abdulayec, Kealb's Zakr Darzi and the Aztecs' Marek Sulejmani's shared eligibility for Castilona short-lived just either side of the turn of the new year.
