Civil War maps

REPORT FROM THE CENTRAL BUREAU OF THE NATIONAL MOVEMENT
MAP OF KILDARE DURING THE REVOLUTION AND CIVIL WAR

5552 ASC

REPORT 1. 5552 ASC
After the death of Dutch Titus Myksos, the outbreak of riots among the poorer masses in the capital and the dissolution of the Seanad (after a majority of the Senators died during the riots), no successor has and can be appointed within lthe legal framework.

Military leaders, local nobility and clergy attempt to establish their own sphere of influence. The result is the creation of several minor city states, counties, kingdoms and - very popular - local republics (some of which are democratic or even have communist Elw influences). These countries, some backed by a Legion which refuses to join the National Movement, need to be subjugated and brought back into the Apollonian Republic of Shireroth's East.

Te Gong Li is at the moment overrun by the Apollonian Guard under the leadership of former Minister Kraut, who announced that he would lead Te Gong Li as an independent region for the time being. There are indications that talks could lead to a peaceful integration of the region into our Apollonian Republic. That is, if we succeed in consolidating our power on the mainland. For this reason, military advisors and officers advise that we let them be for the moment and focus on the larger threats.

The non-existent Shirerithian armies should form no threat for us, so we can neglect the dangers of a western invasion.

Biggest contester for power within Kildare are the royalists, who under the guidance of several priests have appointed the Arch Bishop as 'Rex of Kildare' (aka: King). The support for their movement among the population varies from region to region, but we are sure that with proper counter-propaganda we can easily inform the masses from their past misdoings. More worrisome is their military strength: they can trust upon at least three Legions and a relative proper fleet which could blockade the Antya River. While we have a majority of the Legions, we can't forget that we have to occupy conquered regions till the people have calmed down.

The top priority of the National Movement is convincing other states and armies to join our Revolution, crush those in our way and eventually liberate Apollo City, which has fallen into disarray.

MONTH 2
Eastern Front
The military forces of the National Movement have pushed the XIIth Legion of the Boostertown Federation back to the suburbs of Boostertown. Faced with total defeat, the mayor of the city - after long discussions with his military officers - declares the city to be an 'open city'. The leftovers from the XIIth Legions retreat further to the south, while being hunted down by the Trajanist VIIth Legion. A total surrender follows near the border with Djugagrad.

The Royalists successfully conquer Apollytown. News of rape, inhuman practices and looting reach our information services. We decide to share this news with our fellow soldiers, who are now even more motivated to crush the Royalist barbarians.

Western front
The Ist Legion successfully destroys any (weak) resistance in souther Dalmacija. The rebel XIXth Legions refuses to come to the help of the partisans and digs itself in at Fort Carolina, after which the siege begins.

The Free City of Bray surrenders without too much resistance, knowing very well that it can't defend against both the Nationalist and Royalist troops.

In the meantime the regions of Jacia and Whitlam joined the cause of the Royalists. We don't doubt that this treason to the Nationalist cause is a result of a last attempt of the noble elite and clergy to keep their power. A proof of their stubbornness to help the people on the streets! We shall not forget this treason!

Nice map, I assume that the Federation would be regarded as one of those independent states?
1.Titus Morvayne, Prefect of Shirekeep, Count of the Skyla Islands
2.Eki Aholibamah Verion, Queen in the North
3. Ludovic Verion, Lord of Blackstone and Governor-General of the Iron Company
4. Jeremy Harwinsson Archer, super sleuth

The city states have, in most cases, taken up some kind of independence (if you look to the map). They will, of course, be integrated into the ARSE once the Royalists are defeated and a national government has been re-established. :herman:
