What does "zuz" mean translated?

It might be helpful to put together a list of "aides"; websites that provide some material for those totally unfamiliar with the culture. e.g. I know more Arabic but not Hebrew. So a Hebrew dictionary would be especially useful.

At any rate, bagels as a national food represent a nice tie-in with Ashkenatza.

What does "zuz" mean translated?

The meaning is not exactly clear but it used to be a coin used during the Bar Kochba revolt by Israel.

It might be helpful to put together a list of "aides"; websites that provide some material for those totally unfamiliar with the culture. e.g. I know more Arabic but not Hebrew. So a Hebrew dictionary would be especially useful.

A link could be useful indeed, although I would prefer to give the English translation immediately after in the text, since my knowledge of Hebrew is quite limited and my knowledge of Arabic is nihil.
