The Second House of Arasha (first elected House) was elected by the Arashi people on July 5th, 2014 and sworn in on July 16th, 2014. The first general elections for the House resulted in a victory for the center-right parties. The Second House of Arasha consists of 50 members, one speaker and one president. The latter two only have a ceremonial presence in the house, bringing the official membership of the House to 52.
