The Honourable Gentleman, Mr. Eastward-Hart, has introduced the following Resolution for the consideration of this House:
Currently there are no fixed rules on the duration of debates in Parliament. Provided that there are no objections, I am choosing to interpret Part IV, Section 7 of the Instrument of Government as giving me the power to impose reasonable limits on debate insofar as is necessary to keep business moving.A Resolution of the House on Voting Procedures
1. Ordinary votes (consisting of votes on resolutions and bills before the House) shall be voted on in public view by means of voice vote.
2. Extraordinary votes (consisting of votes to impeach and to amend the Constitution) and elections shall be voted on in secrecy.
