Call it Bastionwiki, and you''ve got a good idea.
Shireroth is not going to hand over its wiki to "Bastion" just to please freeloaders like you.

Why are you angry? There is no point for Shireroth to give its wiki to beggars.

1) You are calling me a freeloader, which I think is insulting. 2) You speak for the entire population of Shireroth, what I find to be somewhat pretentious. 3) I dislike your attitude towards my projects during the past weeks, while you yourself engage in non-serious projects like South Catavia, but suddenly, you are all interested in micronations again and you start critisizing others.

1. You are a freeloader, you add nothing to the benefit of Shireroth but ask that they change the name of their wiki so you can use it.

2. I make an educated guess about how I think the rest of Shireroth will react, I cannot imagine that they do want to give up one of their crown jewels.

3. Besides the point here.

Well, you asked me the reason why I gave an angry reaction. This were the reasons.

Also: I didn't ask for Shireroth to change it's forum name. I wanted to point out that the fact that we would use the wiki of Shireroth would make it appear as if Bastion and Shireroth are one and the same.

Indeed, we were not discussing forums.

No, you said "Call it Bastionwiki" when referring to the ShireWiki, you did not offer any more argumentation. If you wanted to point something out you should at least have vaguely hinted at it.

I meant the concept, not the Shirewiki itself. And even if it was perhaps unclear what I meant, there is still no need to insult me.

It was not insulting, it was factual. If factual remarks are insulting you are the problem.

It was not, I was not begging for anything.

Let's get back to the facts.
Jack wrote:I do like the idea of a collective Wiki very much though. And i would think that it would be best if we were to make a decision about doing the Wiki soon.
Jonas wrote:I was more thinking about everyone starting to use the ShireWiki.
Jack wrote:Call it Bastionwiki, and you''ve got a good idea.
This is the discussion, you want a collective wiki, Jonas reacts saying that everyone could use the ShireWiki, you say to him that "it" should be called Bastionwiki. Now to what can "it' refer? It's highly unlikely that this is a new wiki, given that the essence of Jonas' reply seems to be that no new wiki should be created but an existing one. Indeed, it's hard to read this any different than you asking if the ShireWiki can be renamed to Bastionwiki.

Is this begging? According to the dictionary that is "To ask for as charity". I did not see you offer anything in return so classifying this as begging is a factual remark.

No, it isn't. In the first place, this is just proposing. You can not see a question in the sentence you quoted, therefore it is not 'asking', hence, my statement wasn't begging in the first place, since the definition from the free dictionary requires actual asking.

So, not a fact.

Interesting discussion, the same dictionary says that asking is not limited to questioning, other options are "demanding" or "requesting". Your remark which I qualified as begging does look a lot like "requesting" which is "To express a desire for". You did say after all that it was a good idea, which is very similar to calling it desirable.
