I would like the President to justify his overturning of two cast votes based on apparent rules that are not part of the Senate's only actual rules on the conduct of elections.
When a Prince shall be elected, the President shall declare a period a period of 72 hours of nominations, during which any nomination must be confirmed by the prospective candidate. After this, the President shall invite the candidate(s) for declaring and debating their prospective policies as prince. Once the declarations and debates are over, a period of 72 hours of voting shall be ensured. Each candidate shall be a national of the Union. Each senator has one vote in the election. In lieu of the President, the Steward may conduct such an election if so requested.
When determining the victor of any election, the option receiving plurality shall pass. If the option receiving plurality is a candidate, the candidate shall be elected. If the option receiving plurality is a vote against all candidates, the Senate shall revisit the matter and determine the procedure then. An electoral vote may be extended by twenty-four hours in order to prevent a tie-break, provided that not all Senators have yet voted, and the extension is proposed by a Senator and approved by the President. Alternatively in the event of a deadlock the President may cast the deciding vote.
