I think that Vlanderen and I may finalize the transfer of my islands. If that happens, New Cognito (working title) will need a home, and this place is here, and sort of has my name on it.

Ooh, now that is a good idea. I hadn't thought of that at all, and it would save having to create one extra forum, at least.

So are you saying to declassify it and rename it New Cognito? Or keep it classified and New Cognito has a classified forum called Jacobite Camp?

I'm sort of on sketchy legal ground having this be a top-level forum right now...if you want New Cognito to be Bastion top-level you probably have to go through the Situation Room.

Speaking as an interested observer, I'm not entirely sure that I follow these ideas. Is the new plan to keep this informal grouping alive on Maraguo's forum? If so, then you do have to be careful lest word of a "hidden cabal" leaks out and makes your commitment to transparency appear less than sincere.

Otherwise, I'm all for recycling fora but are you sure you want to saddle New Cognito with all this baggage?
