Seasons in Aryasht

Post by Aryeztur »

In the north, there are four seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter). Winters are mild and summers are hot. However, winters could be harsh in the mountains. Spring and fall are both pleasant and warm.

The rest of Aryasht experiences a tropical seasonal pattern. There are four seasons in this climate, but very different from the temperate seasons. These seasons are: spring, the dry season (summer), the rainy season (monsoon), and for lack of a better word, autumn (planting season). The times of these seasons differs from temperate climates. Spring and autumn both overlap with what is wintertime in northern climates. Spring is from January to April. The dry season is from April to June. The rainy season lasts from July to September. Autumn lasts from September to December. Most crops are sown at the end of the monsoon and harvested at the end of Spring, but rice is sown before the monsoon which then creates the flood like conditions necessary to grow rice.
