While this does indeed go against the moral principles of the Aryashti and Aryashti religion, the military class is conflicted. While the Kshatriyas of Aryasht believe in acting chivalrously and honorably, they also believe in avenging perceived insults to their honor. It is reported that there may even be some clashes between righteous and angry warriors. Furthermore, the military, which is composed of conscript soldiers who are not of the warrior class merely follows orders. Since nobody has given them an order not to slaughter the Jingdaoese, some think it permissible. While murder is illegal, military action is not and the courts have not yet ruled on this matter.

The Aryashti Imperial Militia has arrived in Aryapur from Devaprasht, restoring order in the city and decreeing the non-involvement of Aryasht in external politics, unless it directly affects Aryasht itself.
