FNORD 2015

Fine Saxon beer is best served in large quantities, serving it to you is one of our best qualities. Some people come here to discuss politics, others to fight. Last man standing was right.

We deserve them all, of course, but for which one will we nominate each other? :doc:
Award for Best New Idea ("the Josh")
Award for Conflict Resolution ("the Beard")
Award for Cultural Development:
Award for Economics ("the Andreas")
Award for Art ("the Artz")
Award for History ("the RIMA")
Award for Journalism ("the Iain")
Award for Leadership ("the Mortis")
Award for Literature ("the Jeremy")
Award for Sport (which I propose nicknaming "the Craitman")
Award for Most Promising New Micronation
Award for Most Promising New Micronationalist ("the Liam")
Award for Overall Achievement ("the Shane")
Award for "'Tis but a flesh wound"

None. It's a thing of the past. We're doing a dishonor to what they resembled back then by dragging on with it in this pathetic form.

You have a point, but...

Jake will probably end up with at least one Fnord for doing nothing, illustrating how little actually has been done in the past year.

I do think I deserve the award for leadership for proposing to bury Shireroth though.
1.Titus Morvayne, Prefect of Shirekeep, Count of the Skyla Islands
2.Eki Aholibamah Verion, Queen in the North
3. Ludovic Verion, Lord of Blackstone and Governor-General of the Iron Company
4. Jeremy Harwinsson Archer, super sleuth

I vaguely remind Carl proposing the same. Ready to share your award with him?

I don't like this tradition anymore, there is hardly anything left. It's just Ric raping a corpse. I don't like that sight. If you look at the wiki there seems to be something to it in the days before this, or will he make proper medals and so?

Nothing unusual, is it?

None does...

Didn't we have some more prestigious kind of award which deserves attention?

We could do a proper Purity Award in January. Maybe something that is seriously OK?

They only did that one time I think.

The FNORDs have been reformed before, so why not reduce the number of categories and make them more broad, so that they're more meaningful? It would allow a greater number of nominations to be made. As I said at hub.mn, the literature/history/culture/art awards can be combined. We can also do away with the leadership award or any other less relevant ones.

I would be inclined to say that art could stay a separated award, as it's about drawings / nice maps / etc., while literature, culture and history are clearly more about the written word.
