To celebrate the start of my reign, we shall burn this place to the ground! Take out the bonfire, shoot it at the City and watch from a safe distance (preferably from a boat) how the poor people scream and the horizon is filled with a pleasant and warm sight.
"Err, we are only destroying the poor quarters, aren't we, Your Niftiness?" a servant asked cautiously while handing Brrapa a torch.
"What?! Why would we only do tha... ehm... Yeah... of course... luckily we are well-prepared if the fire would spread to other city quarters... of course."
*Various interested and amused spectators watch the conflagration from boats offshore. The ones closer in have marshmallows on sticks at the ready, though a few of them are helpfully fishing resigned-looking refugees out of the water.*
"Refugees? How could they be helping them instead of enjoying this feast for the eyes?" the Kaiser asked, partly angered that not everyone was as grateful to the Gods for this spectacle as He was.
The servant shrugged. "I believe it's called 'being humane', Your Niftiness."
"That sounds rather... wait, can you eat it?"
"Those few days in which you locked yourself up in your room after hearing your uncle abdicated didn't do you well, did it, Your Niftiness?"
"Hush! Throw bottles of wine to the civilians in honor of the Gods!"
