The Arms of the Marchioness of Modania shall be An escutcheon Quarterly: the first and fourth grand quarters Sub-quarterly, the first and fourth sub-quarters Purpure a Horse Forcene Argent (for Rossheim), the second and third sub-quarters Argent a Castle Sable masoned of the field the Port and Lights Gules (for Maltenstein); the second grand quarter Per Pale Gules and Azure a Sun in Splendour Or (for Modania); the third grand quarter Per Pale Gules and Azure a Cross Crescenty Argent (for Kurpla). The whole ensigned by a Marquess’ Coronet Proper and for supporters, on either side a Horse Argent unguled Or.
4. The Heraldic Badge of the Marquessate of Modania shall be A Sun in Splendour Or.

2. The Laqi Region and the Khanate of Kurpla are hereby abolished and subsumed within the Marquessate.
3. The County of Lywind, the County of Jugenskaja and the County of Ž are hereby granted self-government as autonomous vassals of the Marquessate.
4. WHEREAS our most well-beloved mother the Duchess of Lichbrook has ceded unto us the Shire of Shimmerspring on condition that it be reunited with the County of Jugenskaja;
LET IT BE KNOWN that we, Marie Dolores, Marchioness of Modany, do by these Presents decree that the aforementioned Shire of Shimmerspring and County of Jugenskaja be reunited into a single county by the name of Shimmerspring;

LET IT BE KNOWN that we, Marie Dolores, Marchioness of Modany, Countess of Azarea, do by these Presents annex the said County of Ž to our Marquessate of Modany;
AND BY THE AUTHORITY AFORESAID we do further assume the title Countess of Ž and proclaim the island an autonomous district within our aforementioned Marquessate.

RECOGNISING that these Laqi, whether living or undead, are now so distinct in culture and outlook as to constitute a separate nation;
AND MINDFUL of the fear and suspicion that the undead evoke in our other subjects;
LET IT BE KNOWN that we, Marie Dolores, Marchioness of Modany, Countess of Azarea and Ž, do by these Presents decree that:
1. The mainland territory of our Marquessate of Modany, exclusive of the vassal counties of Lywind and Shimmerspring, shall be divided into two parts as shown on the map contained in the schedule to this decree. In the south, the County of Modan-Lach, or Moudanlaҳ in the Laqi language, shall be re-established to preserve and maintain traditional Laqi culture. In the north, the Khanate of Kurpla shall be re-established as a separate necrarchy under our personal rule, to be known henceforth as the Khanate of Karalach in the English language and Karalaҳ Ҳanligi in the Laqi language.
2. The Laqi-speaking inhabitants of the Khanate of Karalach shall be recognised as constituting a distinct and separate Karalaqi nation.
3. As necrarch of Karalach, we shall assume the Laqi regnal name Doli Khan Karalachli (Doli Ҳan Karalaҳli).
4. The flag of the Khanate of Karalach shall be a plain black field with a width equal to two-thirds of its length, defaced by a white skull charged upon the forehead with a purple Aҳatan rune.
5. The heraldic badge of the Khanate of Karalach shall be a Skull Argent charged upon the forehead with an Aҳatan Rune Purpure.
6. It shall be forbidden to create undead outside of Karalach.

AND BY THE AUTHORITY AFORESAID we do further assume the title Countess Palatine of Azarea and Ž.
