Letter to the King re Lord Adam

Your Most Gracious Riverine Majesty

Having been dispatched by His Imperial Highness The Lord Adam Anushiruwân as his agent and representative in the Imperial Republic, and having received the permission to do so by Our Lady The Radiant Sun, Noor as Salaam, Kaiseress of Shireroth, Queen of Nations Far and Wide, Lady and Wife of your most Gracious and Riverine Majesty, I come here with a request from the Lord Adam.

The Lord Adam desires for your Majesty to know that his heart is burdened with the deep regret and sorrow of all the evils he has committed in this world. By the mercy of Our Lady the Radiant Sun, he was sent to the monastery of Saint Joelle in Athlon, where he has under the almost years since, learnt of the profound impact of his actions, and been touched by the Buttery Spirit, who has moved his heart from an evil disposition to a good one.

In view of Lord Adam's conversion, he still will not expect that he should in any way be rehabiltated. He is all too cognizant of his evil actions – of their unforgiveable nature – and he wishes for your Majesty to know that he shall his entire life, for as long as Our Lady the Radiant Sun wills him to remain alive, work to address those evils. However, he has a small request of practical nature here in Elwynn.

Lord Adam is the owner of estates, move moveable and immoveable, in Elwynn. For as long as he is at Saint Joelle's – where he expects he will remain for the rest of his pained life – he has no joy of owning them. Rather, he thinks of his son, whom he has never met, yet for whom he professes a deep love and bond, one that can only exist between a father and a son, as your Majesty may know of his own relationship to his blood children. Would your Majesty be inclined to transfer all deeds of ownership of any property in Elwynn from Lord Adam to his lawfully begotten son, His Imperial Highness The Prince Vidar Salim Livarson, Prince of Natopia and of Elwynn, Duke of Cheshunt, Count of Kaltor, Upper Macon, Andiopolis, Northshire, Arietta, the Lady Esther Isles, Baron of Port Mills, Llængjarl of Elwynn, Lord in Jorvik, Lord Triumphant in All Four Quarters Progeny of the Once-Living God, Knight of the Black Hole, Knight of the Holy Lakes, Scion of the King of Kings, so provide for the good pure Prince's financial security and stability, so that he may never be touched by evil, as his father so often was?
