WHEREAS The principles of Nordiskehet are not necessarily in line with our current state of existence.

IT IS BELIEVED That the survival of the principles and way of life of the Nordic people depends upon the continuation of the principle of Nordiskehet.

THEREFOR As affixed in Annex I of this edict, a list of principles for Nordiskehet is given, to be adopted as the primary guiding principles of The National Association for Civil Development (as established in Citizen and Subject Classification Act of 368 Common Era).

Annex I
  1. The Territory of Normark should be considered the home of all folk which carry Nordic blood.
  2. That irregardless of the status of independence of The State, the Nordic people are a unified and indivisible people.
  3. Pride in one's people and pride in one's state are virtues beyond reproach.
  4. Service in the military of Elwynn is strongly encouraged while service in the Normarksgarde or pursuance of a higher education is mandatory to all residences of The Territory.
  5. Education is a necessity of life and all citizens of The Territory shall have unhindered access to every level of it.
  6. Elwynn is a brother state, not a parent state. We are as brothers who seek a common end.
  7. Class-struggle is an inevitable fact-of-life and extends beyond any possible legislation or list of principles such as this. Cooperation of the classes is to be rigidly enforced as to ensure prosperity of the whole of the population.
  8. The principles of good territorial citizenship (i.e. these principles) shall be mandatory through all levels of education.
  9. Where possible, commerce should be made to serve the common good in place of the individual want.
THIS EDICT, being the order of The Grand Marshal of The Territory of Normark, a constituency of The Elwynnese Union, is entered into the law of the territory and is thought to be free of contradiction from the established laws of His Serene Highness, The Prince of Elwynn. As such it shall not prevent or otherwise inhibit the national governance of His Serene Highness or The Senate of Elwynn as established by The Treaty of Brotherhood between the Elwynnese and Nordic Unions of 424 5th Age and subsequently by The Normark Act.

SO ORDERED,
