Once the People's Republic of Mar Sara, settled by the fabled Starsearchers, Mar Sara was long one of Shireroth's farthest-flung colonies before now finding its way into the Bovic Empire.

Hockey update (5205)

I can't believe its been almost 7 earth months since Mar Sara were defeated by the Gerenians in the World Championships final in Birgeshir! Well, thankfully, the 2014 edition has just been announced, and Mar Sara have been promoted to the "A" Conference for this year's competition, which means they are officially one of the 6 best national hockey teams on Micras and gives them a bigger chance of getting to the final. Mar Sara may no longer have the element of suprise over their opponents, but they'll sure be one of the favourites to win the title.

Mar Sara have also been awarded the oppurtunity to have a franchise for the Micras Hockey League's 2014 season, to be based in Augustgrad.

The MHL hopes to hear back soon!

Shireroth proper, alongside Elwynn, Aryasht and Hawshire-Dura would all be allowed to have their own teams participating, if they so wished!
