Safirian expat community in the Saran Confederacy

I was considering making, as the topic shows, a community of Safirian expats in the Confederacy, probably around Eriksburg or Nee. Thoughts?

But it was part of Shireroth for a time, and there may very well have been Safirians that moved to various places within the Imperial Republic.

I thought it might have been, so I consulted Wikipedia, which says:

[Diaspora] has come to refer to historical mass-dispersions of people with common roots, particularly movements of an involuntary nature...

Either way, meh.
