A DECLARATION OF AUTHORITY OVER THE ISLAND BY THE HIGH REEVE

On this date 5338 ASC, the High Reeve of Twilight Island, Thadeus Melanje II
promulgated Decree 5338-1:

It shalt be that I shalt have full power over the local government of this fair
island, subject to the Count of MASS and any higher nobles and government
authorities.

It shalt also be that I shalt have full power to raise up an army for the Island
of Twilight and pledge the service of this army as an expression of fealty to
the Count of MASS.

THE FAILURE OF A DAM LEADS TO AVIAN TRAGEDY

A flock of geese sitting in the Nyenye tragically drowned after doors on the dam
opened before the water scarcely had drained a single gallon, creating a large
wave. An elderly pensioner who loved feeding the birds from her Dawn harbor
park bench commented that it was a grave tragedy and there is too
much traffic on the river these days. Engineer Philip Xonrani stated that an
investigation is being conducted to determine whether the cause was human
error or mechanical failure. Sabotage was quickly ruled out, after a review of the
security tapes and logs showed no evidence of foul play.

THE RELIGIOUS EXPRESS THEIR BELIEFS WITH RESPECT TO ALEXANDRIA

A prayer was read in The First Sosaran Reformed Church of Soulfall honoring those
who stayed loyal to the Empire of Alexandria even through that nation's trials. A
prayer for forgiveness to the rebels who joined the Republic of Alexandria was made
as well. Also money was pledged to an Alexandria Refugee Relief fund.
