It's tea-time again

Post by Deimos Jasonides »

Hola chicos

I'm going to have tea again. And what place is better than England? So I'll be away for two weeks starting Tuesday (I'll have my phone with me) and then I'm off to Finland for post-UK detox and won't have any internet for how long I end up staying there. I still haven't booked a ticket back to Sweden. Who knows, maybe I'll stay there, become dictator and put shameful feelings in Ari's heart? By the end of August, I should be home anyway.

Could I prevail upon you to call your, as of yet hypothetical, autobiography something along the lines of 'A Life of Perpetual Tea-Time: The Journey from Moomin Valley to Malta and Back Again'...

England is known for drinking tea but it isn't a great place for varieties of tea nor does it produce good tea. The best tea comes from Asia. If one wants to sample numerous different great types of wine, one goes to France for example even though you can probably drink a lot of wine anywhere. I hear the Chinese love drinking wine but produce crap wine.

Wine? I would prefer South Africa, Chile or California. =p

Yeah, French wine is overrated. :p

Also, only in Cornwall is there tea being grown (and that for a niche market). English blends are really good generally. If you think it's bad in the UK, try anywhere else in Europe.

Judging by the kettle's contents, I should be finished with my last sip tomorrow afternoon. Expect some Ric action and upheaval.
