Act of the Senate

ON THE ADMISSION OF ALBION


Section 1: Admittance

The Dominion of Albion, consisting of the territories (schedule 1) afforded it under Dismemberment Act of the Assembly of the Antican Republic (schedule 2), is hereby admitted as a union territory. The law, jurisdiction and administration of the Union shall extend to Albion in accordance with the Charter, having been ratified by Parliament through its ordinance 2013/II (schedule 3).

Article 2: Nationality

All citizens of the Dominion of Albion on 2013-02-01 shall be granted full Elwynnese nationality. All citizens of the Antican Republic resident in any of the territories listed in schedule 1 on 2013-01-22 shall be granted full Elwynnese nationality.

Dismemberment Act

Successor States

§1. The following states are recognized as legitimate successors to the Antican Republic:
  1. Albion
  2. Aryasht
  3. Kaikias-Overseas
  4. Lighthouse
§2. Albion shall consist of the following territories (See Schedule Ia):
  1. Albion
  2. Nafticon
§3. Aryasht shall consist of the following territories (See Schedule Ib):
  1. Aryasht
  2. Antican Norfolk
§4. Kaikias-Overseas shall consist of the following territories (See Schedule Ic):
  1. Kaikias
  2. Subsection of Overseas, as indicated in Schedule I
§5. Lighthouse shall consist of the following territory (See Schedule Id):
  1. Subsection of Overseas, as indicated in Schedule I
  2. Pharos
§6. Lighthouse shall maintain Pharos's condominium status with the Kingdom of Babkha until such time as Lighthouse (or a legitimate successor) and the Kingdom of Babkha (or a legitimate successor) agree on terminating that status.

§7. Aryasht shall maintain the special status of Station Chatham and Station Halifax with the Imperial Republic of Shireroth until such time as Aryasht (or a legitimate successor) and the Imperial Republic of Shireroth (or a legitimate successor) agree on terminating that status.

§8. Once the successor states decide on independent status or dependency under another state, the Micronational Cartography Society shall be notified, with an appropriate graphic to accompany the notification. See Schedule I.

§9. The successor states are free to reorganize, add to, or drop the territory delegated to them.

§10. No other states shall have a legitimate claim to the Antican name, toponyms, or culture unless they are descended, either whole or in part, from these successor states.

Dissolution of National Government

§11. Upon passage of this Act, the Articles of the Republic and the Republican Code shall become null and void.

§12. Upon the passage of this Act, claim to territory not delegated to a successor state shall be released.

§13. Upon the passage of this Act, the Antican Republic will cease to be a unified governing entity, and shall be succeeded by the designated successor states as bearers of Anticanness.

Antican League

§14. The Antican successor states shall be the founding members of a new international organisation, called the Antican League.

§15. The Antican League shall act as a forum for commerce and intercultural exchange between the new states as they attempt to manifest their respective destinies.

§16. Each member state of the Antican League shall send one delegate to and have one equal vote in a League Assembly for the discussion of any such issues of diplomatic concern as may arise.

§17. The League shall by majority vote determine which member state is best fit to host the League Assembly and its discussions.

§18. It shall be incumbent upon all members of the Antican League to preserve the spirit of Anticanness that is their common heritage.

Forum Space

§19. Between the passage of this Act and the time in which the successor states have permanently established new forum spaces, the forum space of the Antican Republic may be used.

§20. The leaders of the successor states will be tasked with determining how the forum space of the Antican Republic shall be divided between them, either for archival purposes or for continued use by the successor states.

Ordinance 2013/II: Ratification of the Charter of Elwynn

In the name of the Sublime Divinity this Ordinance is promulgated on this day as given in the eternal city of Woden whereby We have established and proclaimed and do establish and proclaim:

I. That the Worshipful Corporation of Woden & it's Lieutenancies, having assembled in a Parliament of the Dominion of Albion at Woden, do hereby assent to the Charter of Elwynn [Schedule I] and command that the Lord Protector and His Officers and the Guilds herein assembled shall enact the provisions of the same through out the Dominion.

II. The Lord Protector shall be charged to render unto the Prince of Elwynn a pledge of allegiance on behalf of the Worshipful Corporation in anticipation of a final status treaty between the Elwynnese Union and the Worshipful Corporation for the admission of the Dominion of Albion into the Union as a Union Territory.

III. All other provisions of Ordinance 2013/II shall remain in effect until further notice is given save that Babkhans are to be released from previously stated restrictions.


Promulgated into Law and signed by Major-General His Grace the Duke of Ireland, Sir Thomas Stucley, on behalf of the Lord Protector, on this day the 31st of January in the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand and Thirteen Anno Dominae.
