Amendment to Rules of Procedure on Membership

That Rules I and II are amended accordingly:

Rule 1: Name

1. The common name of this legislature is the Senate.

2. The longform name of the Senate is the Senate of the Union, provided when disambiguation is necessary the name the Senate of the Union of Elwynn, Amokolia and Hurmu is allowed.

Rule 2: Membership

1. The Senate admits through resolution its new members, which may be ordinary senators or honorary senators.

2. Honorary senators may speak in the Senate but may not partake in any vote.

3. An ordinary member of the Senate is known as a Senator or a Senator of the Union for [place of residence].

4. An honorary senator is known as an Honorary Senator of the Union for [place decided by resolution].

5. Any Senator, ordinary or honorary, may declare their resignation from the Senate by informing the Senate of such desire. Upon the Senate's receipt of such notice, their membership shall lapse in accordance with the terms given in the notice.
