Resolution re Antica

The Senate of Elwynn, Amokolia and Hurmu,

recallig with great affection the friendship with the Antican Republic that began long before diplomatic relations between Elwynn and Antica were established when the Antican Republic offered the Free Elwynnese a safe harbour to consolidate their opinions and options so to assume their sovereign right in the world: to determine their own fate.

recalling with great happiness the signing of the Treaty of Aryapura between the Elwynnese Realm and the Antican Republic when the two counstries promised that they would "contribute toward the further development of peaceful and friendly international relations by strengthening their free institutions, by bringing about a better understanding of the principles upon which these institutions are founded, and by promoting conditions of stability and well-being."

reaffirming such principles to be binding upon the Union and reaffirming that the Treaty of Aryapura, following Elwynn's union with Amokolia and Hurmu, binds the Union as much now as it did with the Elwynnese Realm,

regretting with much concern that the devestating crisis in Antica has resulted in a chain of events have thrown the Antican Republic to a state of anarchy, anomie and lack of peace, order and good government, and consequently a referendum in the Antican Skerries, Freedom Island, Kaikias, Korhal, New Brannum, Suryo and Sylvania -- united as the Overseas Dominion -- proclaimed the independence of the territories from Antica.

1. recognizes the self-determination of the Peoples of the Overseas Dominion and of all Antican peoples,

2. declares that the Treaty of Aryapura, formerly between the Elwynnese Realm and the Antican Republic, is now a Treaty between Elwynn, Amokolia and Hurmu, on one part, and all sovereign successors to the Antican Republic, on the other.

3. directs the Court of the Prince to assume this policy.
