Independence of Elwynn

Post by Verion »

Our Lord, the Divine Icebear has cometh to me in the night. He told me that it is not right for Elwynn (the holy and promised land) to stay in Shireroth. Our Lord told me that Elwynn should declare independence immediately.

I expect that the earthly powers responsible will follow the orders of our Lord most high and serene, and declare independence.

May the blessing of the Lord be with you.

You might want to have waited until the whole Tundrok thing blew over. Right now it's a bit unoriginal.

Right now, the Icebear and his followers still don't care about Tundrok. Or about you for that matter.

And I wouldn't dream of saying otherwise. I was purely pointing out a possible factor which may hinder your cause. Good luck I suppose.

The Divine Icebear might wish to consider that advocating independence could reflect poorly on his faithful disciple's candidacy for the Mango Throne. Elwynn prevails and our domains stretch from Caligae down to the very suburbs of Shirekeep itself. Why should we disturb matters now when the balance of power is very much favourable to us.
His Imperial Magnificence Aurangzeb II Steffki, Kaiser of the Imperial Republic of Shireroth, Thane of the Shirelands, Keeper of the Apollo Legacy, Wielder of the Sword of Vengeance, Grand Master of the Orders of the Dragon, Griffin, Phoenix, and Chimera, Sovereign of the Golden Mango Throne.

Yes, I just thought of that. Why run for the office of the nation from which you want independence? I am quite interested in how you plan to achieve both.
