Malliki: Sorry, must've missed that. It'll be back next update. Let me know if I shortchanged anyone else.
Alicorn: I'll make something along those lines next update.
Fides: I'm going to require ECs to build infrastructure on the map, but I've been reading some great tutorials on drawing road/rail networks so I look forward to it too.

Not shortchanged, just misspelled "Mŷwr"Scott Alexander wrote:Let me know if I shortchanged anyone else.

But of course! That's my only reason to collect them, really.Scott Alexander wrote:Fides: I'm going to require ECs to build infrastructure on the map, but I've been reading some great tutorials on drawing road/rail networks so I look forward to it too.

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
Version 6 of the map is now up. If you had a problem with version 5, please check to make sure it was resolved to your satisfaction. Changes include:
- fixed Andreas' river borders
- moved Merveilles as discussed in Nate's PM
- Drachumve typo
- Frosthelm name position
- Gave Malliki back his small island
- Spelling Craitman's capital
- Added Omega
Also, I now have some less complex, more easily modified maps as per requests from Alicorn on the first post in this thread.

Aaak! Yes, I was! Somehow that didn't make it onto the list on the first post. Hmmm...

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
Okay, just uploaded 6.1 which fixes that issue. Sorry about that. Somehow it's always your requests I screw up; it's honestly not on purpose.

No worries. We will hold a festival in your honor in Aryasht.

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
Do you think you can also update the blank map with the borders to reflect this new world? I want to start producing some thematic maps of Aryasht.

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
Yes, but later.
Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
Also I know I asked several times, but can you turn the area between Aryasht and Chris's statelet into a barren desert for the next update?

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
The map seems to have become darker and more ominous.
Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
I hate to be a bother but this is more what I had in mind. I only wanted the coastline on the west side of the river. Thanks

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
Ha, I knew those easily editable MCS maps would come in useful!
...yeah, I'll change that next update.
Aryeztur, as far as I can tell that area is already barren desert.

Oh, I thought it ought to colored a sandy yellow.

Also, could I get popped in as my flag?

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
Another minor correction: "Kennerixt" should be "Kennerext".
The names I'm coming up with seem to be prone to one-letter errors, I think.

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
So question. Does the world wrap around between Aryasht and Dromosker or is it possible you might be adding an extra landmass there if needed. If one were to sail due east from Aryasht, where would they end up?

Re: Map Information/Update/Request Thread
The world does wrap around. You can sail from East Aryasht to Merveilles, though you'd have a long voyage. I am unlikely to add another land mass but won't rule it out.
