The Dozan Bovic Church is witnessing the blossoming of our faith into one of infinite diversity. We have caused bosarchs to go into the lichlands and preach to the poor lost souls there. There, however, the Queen of those lands has mandated certain changes to our holy and divine rites.

We have looked at the Tetrabilios, and prayed to Bous. We are confident that the use of goat milk is not contrary to the basic belief in Bous. Bous has taken the form of a Cow and a Bull, but also a Man. He is clearly not limited in his forms to that of the genus Bos. In fact, we might consider all animals in the Bovidae family to be worthy of veneration in the Bovic faith. This includes the domestic cow and of course the goat, the ancient symbol of the Bovic Empire itself.

It would be remiss to not elevate the goat to a spot of veneration considering the history of Athlon, a former Bovic crusader kingdom, being liberated by the Order of the Armored Goats. Therefore, we do hereby allow, if necessary, the use of all Bovidae milk when performing Bovic rites, or when making butter.

It is also clear to the Dozan Bovic Church that cattle are not as abundant in other parts of the world. We are fortunate to the rich dairy pastures of Tas Neemia to provide us with milk and butter and cheese across the whole Bovic Empire. Areas that do not have as abundant access to cow milk may use other Bovidae milk.

If cow milk is available, and allowed by local law, then cow milk must be used.

Churches and herds that may use goat milk will belong to the Capric Rite and these initially include the Herds of Modan Hamlet, Lyhigh, Elder Beacon, Amarr, Rhodondra, Merensk, Acarid City, and Port Benacia.
