FRENCH TROOPS TAKE BELGIUM, AUSTRIAN TROOPS RETAKE VENICE
As the front between French and German forces restabilizes along the Rhine, French forces have pushed forward and seized control of Belgium, forcing the German occupation force northward into the Netherlands. France is now confirmed to be in an active military alliance with Austria-Hungary, when the k.u.k. Army supported a French move back into the Kingdom of Bavaria. Unfortunately, French orders were updated without Austria-Hungary being notified.
On the Austro-Italian Front, Austria-Hungary has regained control over Venice after Italy attempted to take it back this spring. This offensive was aided by the presence of French troops, who have stationed themselves in Piedmont.
GERMANS PUSH OVER THE URALS TO TAKE SIBERIA, AUSTRIANS TAKE MOSCOW
Taking advantage of German troop movements eastward to secure the Russian frontier, the k.u.k. Army has rolled into Moscow and taken control of central European Russia. Germany continues to maintain control of northern European Russia, with its puppet tsar in Petrograd.
CHINA TAKES VLADIVOSTOK, TOKYO, PHILIPPINES
In another well-coordinated offensive operation, the Ever Victorious Army has regained control of Vladivostok, cutting off a Japanese fleet on the coast of eastern Siberia and forcing the remainder of Japanese troops off of mainland Asia. Simultaneously, Chinese soldiers have taken Tokyo, capital of the Japanese Empire. The Emperor of Japan and his government are said to have evacuated to Kyoto, which remains outside of Chinese control for the time being.
With the Japanese empire disintegrating, Japan finds itself on the edge of obliteration. Outside the confines of Chinese-occupied cities, chaos reigns. Crime has skyrocketed as police have fled their occupations and everyday people break into stores and their neighbors' homes for extra supplies. With the Ever-Victorious Army occupying large areas of Japanese farmland, famines are expected to take place outside of their occupation zone, weakening further resistance to Chinese expansion throughout the Japanese homeland.
