So, Ardy deleted his "let's celebrate the end end of Harvey and his nation" comment?

I miss Jasonia/Nelaga. :(

(I also wonder where I can find the Control of Destiny games, and if they'll work on Linux…)

I still have them on my old computer. I shall take a look and try to find them for you (this weekend).

I have found CoD 1, 2.5, 3 and 4 (not sure levels of completion for any) in the deepest recesses of my hard disk. Can't upload because I'm not at home but will do so later today/tomorrow.

e: I've long considered it a shame that, jaunts into Minecraft aside, CoD is the best example of micronational game development. Bill worked a bit on a mod of Europa Universalis 3 converting it to an Apollo-era Micras, that I think would have been excellent. Equally I think a mod of Crusader Kings 2 that focused on Shireroth (feudal), Babkha ('Muslim' government in CK2, forgive me but I think the dynasty decadence feature works well there despite the Zoroastrianism), and Antica (republican govt) would work very well.

We had plans to do up a Civilization II mod pack along with a number of scenarios - and the customization of the Civ game made the concept work very well. But they always stalled out after a while. I think I still have copies of two unfinished versions of the Infernal War; one I made, and another that Harvey made.

Of course nobody plays Civ2 anymore, so not much point in finishing them.

Cheers all.

I wouldn't have remembered myself if Scott hadn't remembered and sent me an email about it. Seventeen years is a long time.

They were passion projects. It wasn't even about micronations by the end, really. 2, the one I created from scratch without Bill's help, also ended up being by far the one with the least ties to actual micronations, but also the one I sunk like 95% of my RPGMaker days into working on. In retrospect the storyline of 2 (and all of them, really) is awful, but eh, I had fun.
