Gralan RPG Setting

So, what I was originally planning to post - Nicholas, Fides and two of their friends are keen to start a D&D campaign and I offered to DM for them. I'm going to be using Gralus as the campaign setting (I spent 5 years developing this world with you guys, I might as well use it). It's basically modern Gralus with a few history tweaks to make it work better as a campaign setting - so MANA is still an active academy and BONE is still active and in Barax; I think that's the only major tweak to chronology. I've worked out various races to fit the Gralan races, and how you would theme the base classes (we're doing 4E 'cause that's what we're used to and some of the newer classes get bizarre, so I'm trying to keep it less broken).

Attached is the doc I made up to explain it to the players, particularly the two who weren't micronationalists. Just thought I'd throw it up if anyone's interested. I also plan to do up some newspaper broadsheets for the players and I'll throw those up too. As with most of the things I write, it started nice and detailed and then I got rushed so it's much more OOC at the end, but still, might be interesting.

I'll tell you if any interesting events happen.

We've had two sessions so far, and in the second one they considerably messed up my plans as DM (so for the next one, hopefully this weekend, I've just planned out a whole bunch of combats that can be thrown in as needed, and three vague directions they might plausibly-ish go, and then am going to wing the rest). When I get around to it, I'll write up session reports. I figure that apart from BONE being around in Barax again (which they may not interact with for a while), the setting is close enough to current Gralus that I can consider what happens in the campaign as what happens in Gralus IC, and weave in events between the two. Hence the NNN broadsheets.

Oh yeah, it would be, actually. About the only thing that's probably not appropriate for current Gralus is BONE, which has just died and never got brought back to Barax - the rest is right.
