I'm talking about the Empire. I think Toketi is still allowed capital punishment.

And it's finished. Again, hope you enjoyed it. Questions, comments, criticism? I'm not at all opposed to going back and changing things if some sections seem a bit off. Just not immediately. I need a break from the writing now.

Marvellous read! A very well written trial - I always knew our legal system was the most interesting of all micronations :)

I also hadn't picked the Imperial Pardon being in the folder (though I guess in retrospect it was obvious) - I had assumed it was your resignation if you lost.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave. But he does deserve a cool war ribbon.

However, this account still manages:
Vincent Waldgrave - Lord General of Gralus
Manuel - CEO of VBNC. For all you'll ever need.
Q - Director of SAMIN
Duke Mel'Kat - Air Pirate, Melangian, and Duke of the Flying Duchy of Glanurchy
Cla'Udi - Count of Melangia
Vur'Alm Xei'Bôn - Speaker of Nelaga, Minister of Interior Affairs, and a Micron

I too was thinking resignation. And I can't help but wonder if the Borrington stuff in the end was put in because I took a liking to the character, but I'm not complaining :)

Congrats on getting the thing finished at all. I know how easy it is to abandon stories. And I'm certainly glad you didn't - it was a fun courtroom romp.

Have fun plotting your own death!

No, I was thinking about the Borrington aftermath even before you started commenting about it.

One day I should read this in its entirety if I find the time, if the reviews are any reflection of its quality :p

Shouldn't take you that long, it's just under 15,000 words. I'm pretty sure I've seen longer chapters on fanfictions.

Yeah, I've written fanfics about that long before (you wouldn't want to read them, trust me :p), I'll probably read it sometime this week
