I'd like to apologize for the blips that you hear near the end of Part A and throughout Part B. That's a function sound in Skype (one of the programs used for recording) and, try as I might, I cannot edit them out. I will take steps to prevent further occurences.

Topics in Part B:
  1. Malliki on Mallikihate
  2. The Nature and Potential of the Bastion Union -- Main Topic (Farzan Shahanshah, your friendly neighborhood Babkhan, dominates this discussion)
  3. Advertisement on ART. Pay us or we'll talk shit about you!

Antican Roundtable No.13, Pt. B

In order to properly apologize for the time it took to get ART13 released, I present you with this big red button:

Inception Button

SCREW THE ART. I CAN'T IMAGINE LIFE BEING ANY BETTER THAN JUST PUSHING THAT BUTTON FOR A FEW HOURS.

This show included an unusual number of attacks and somewhat mean-spirited misrepresentations of people who weren't there to respond. It's the first time I've been disappointed by an ART.

Also, those computer beeping/tweeting noises in the background were really distracting!

It's not a real apology unless there's an inception button attached.

Other things you weren't kidding about: Farzan dominating the discussion.

Just for reference, because I'm too lazy to listen back through both parts again for the some purpose of finding them, where and upon whom were there attacks and misrepresentations?

With respect, to you and to anyone who has similar views, this show is not named Neutral Unbiased Micronational Talk Radio. It's the Antican Roundtable. I consider it somewhat fortunate that Chris and I are able to hijack the subject matter so often to talk about Bastion. But it makes no pretenses of being unbaised, or not having an agenda, or being fair. I've long tried to steer the conversation topics towards my own end. This one blew up in my face, as you probably noticed from me being on defense for the entire time, but that's okay.

tl;dr : show up and jump into the conversations or don't complain about content.

And yeah, the beeps are so annoying. If Ben's gunna be back, he needs to buy some headphones or mute his chat client.

When I post the updated rules, I'll include instructions on how to stop Skype from making such sounds.

"Will you say for the record that you aren't going to go over there and tell them they're stupid?"
"I- I... uh... I don't think I should have to"

"It's okay to criticise gays or blacks or jews, just not magic."

"We love Bastion! Antica is funderful, and you should let us in!"

I need to get in on one of these.

Spending 10-20 bucks on something that can get you a heck of a lot of entertainment sounds like a great deal to me.

Next time I will plug in some headphones. I was called in at very short notice. Also I was drunk.

Most of the bleeps though were not mine.

Well, they were from your computer. That's the sound that Skype generally makes when people type into the text chat. I've previously changed my sound settings to eliminate them, but Skype runs with those sounds on by default.
