Executive Decision to move the MTO

    Postby Nathan » Mon Sep 30, 2013 5:11 pm

Unless presented with strong opposition, I will begin the process of moving main operations of the MTO to Hub.mn. The General Treaty gives the SecGen the duty of moderating the MTO's online forums, I believe choosing the location of those forums is a necessary component of being able to moderate them. The administration of the Hub has already given a positive response, so I will begin the process of formally asking them to create an MTO forum.

This is not a reaction to the current discussion surrounding the Bastion administration in Shireroth. However, the number of MTO nations on Bastion has dropped to a point that keeping it here is not prudent for visibility.

    *Sigh.*

Like moving it would make it more visible? Most fora on the Hub are alive thanks to Craitman, so you can hardly say that it really adds much advantage otherwise.

I'd rather it move to the Hub to at least try a revival where non-Bastion nations go sometimes for their MCS needs than keep it here where only 3/8 nations are members and only 1/3 of those nations have sustainable activity.

It would perhaps be prudent to vote on the matter.

As I said, if enough actual delegates disagree I will not move the MTO. I will respect the outcome of a vote, but I do believe it is within my duties as defined by the general treaty to do this unilaterally, and so I will proceed with the relocation until specifically ordered to stop by a decision of the General Assembly.
