A Response to the Jing

Post by Continuator »

The Ministry of the Exterior has released the following response to the latest propaganda bulletin out of New Kirrie. As always, the idiosyncratic approach taken by the Jingdaoese when it comes to matters of diplomacy never ceases to make an impression.

We hope the Emperor enjoys his tea...

Forty-five anthrax and sarin laced shells were fired from the forward positions of the 5th Legion in Batavia towards Tianhoucheng and the Palace of Sisera in a belated salute of the Hai Emperor's visit to the outposts of Jingdaoese treachery and subversion in Western Benacia, amidst the ruins of the Batavian culture it corrupted and sought to destroy. The permanent state of war was initiated by the Jingdaoese subversion and theft of Kildare and the subsequent declaration of war on the part the Mingshi Emperor, misled by Ergonians even as he succumbed to the - doubtlessly inherited - madness that would ultimately see him slip on a banana skin and fall out of a particularly tall tower. We do not consider the present armistice to be the permanent solution to the Jingdaoese Question.
We are aware of the Jingdaoese claims to have enslaved and deported millions of Batavians to Apollonia during their brief and destructive occupation of the former Kingdom. The Jingdaoese brand of perverse orientalism has no commonality with the ancestral ways of the Batavii and we look forward to working with Joachim Mackay and the Free Batavians to restore an ancient and dignified nation in its ancestral homeland as a dominion of the Imperial Republic.
