I have a dilemma...

I have a dilemma...
...and I'd like some input on it.
Toketi is a big country, geographically. And a very geographically diverse country. Unfortunately, our membership is no longer what it used to be.
I am aware of the horrendous spider-web of organization that this forum is. It's terrible. And yet, if people want to learn about our country's geography properly, I don't see any better way to do it. The thing is, we don't use our location forums all that often. So they're just probably going to sit there with descriptions, and be rather pointless, other than to organize things.
So what I'm looking for is a better way to organize our forums so that we don't have all this dead-weight, but still make it easy for people to learn about the diversity of Tokian geography, climate, and culture.
A thought now occurs: Perhaps I could construct a map with clickable hotspots that link to descriptions. Therefore eliminating the need for the entire forum structure. How does that sound? Ideas are still welcome.

Re: I have a dilemma...
An idea: if you make a clickable map, you could link the places to a wiki page of that particular place. That way you avoid having too many subforums but at the same time everyone can stay editing its culture, etc.
And just create a subforum where you centralise every discussion about the regions.

Re: I have a dilemma...
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I'll have to get on the wiki and do some additions and copypasta, but that sounds like a good idea.

Note: the Kallåisk forum might get busy next month or so
Re: I have a dilemma...
Wasn't planning on doing much with that one.

Re: I have a dilemma...
Sounds like a plan. Though I'd still keep the forums you have - they're big enough areas it works.
The character Andreas the Wise is on indefinite leave. But he does deserve a cool war ribbon.

But we don't really use them. I'm thinking I'll just condense it to a single land forum, with four different region forums in that: Ranteran, Laranel, Chelkran Kesh, and Kalla. I don't think it needs to get any more specific than that.

Re: I have a dilemma...
You don't use them currently, but people might in the future, if you got a nobility system working again. You only have 13, that is NOT excessive for a nation your size. Though I'll happily shrink Rielrar and Krerdar into one.

Re: I have a dilemma...
that is true, but i don't see us having a working nobility system anytime soon. I'll have to think about it.

Re: I have a dilemma...
Actually, I'm gonna side with Andreas on this. The forums are not that terribly big.
