Your Majesty -- For the sake of justice, Dr Krumsson has now returned. Perhaps the case could be considered now?

OFFICIAL INTERPRETATIONS:

1. Is Adelsraad approval a criterion for the legal creation of subdivisions within a Duchy?

Adelsraad approval being a criterion for a variety of things is an important factor in a lot of situations in Shireroth. I suspect this will not be the first interpretation I have to give in regards to this criterion. In regards to the legal creation of subdivisions within a Duchy, the answer is yes, except in the case of Kaiseral decrees making subdivisions within a Duchy.

2. Is Goldshire's establishment of the realms of Khorze and Ynnraile as subdivisions legal?

The establishment of the realms of Khorze and Ynnraile can only be legal with either a) Adeslraad approval or b) Kaiseral approval. Either is quite easy to obtain and should pose no significant difficulties to the parties so interested. For a previous instance, see the request by Yours Truly to the Kaiser to form Baronetcies within the Raynor Isles; this is one of the two aforementioned ways to handle this situation in a proper manner.

Signed,

Arbiter Duke Gilles I

My preliminary opinion disagrees with the Arbiter on this. However because of doing actual law shit I can't give it in any detail at all right now. Just know that I dissent in my opinion and I'll provide it later.

As a citizen of Shireroth and resident of the same barony that Amarr is in, and count of Lakhesia which is affected by this opinion just like all other fiefs, I claim standing to challenge this opinion.

Therefore, I ask that the County of Amarr appeal this decision.

The County of Amarr notifies the Imperial Judex of its intention to appeal the ruling to higher resort. The appeal will be sent to the Kaiser April 5, 2012.
