[Hergon] The Rallying Cry of the Goats

The Order of the Armored Goats was headquartered in Hergon, and it was the military branch of the Pentheral State. It was the original organization that invaded and colonized this island generations ago. The new affirmation of the Armored Goats as the sole defensive military organization of the empire had sparked a new interest in Athlonian pride and desire to spread the word of Bous.

A popular, yet dangerous, pilgrimage for many Bovic was visiting the tomb of Elijah, within the ruins of Konungheim. The Armored Goats offered their services for hire, often as guides and bodyguards for pilgrims who took up the journey. It was far from other Natopian lands. The recent colonization of Tinalkina and the Skerries provided a safer route north. Much of the journey still had to be completed over land or via icebreaker to reach the frozen shores of Normark.

The Armored Goats believed that, in order to secure the safety of Athlonian pilgrims, Athlon should establish a permanent base in the northern lands, to offer pilgrims a respite after their long journey, to create infrastructure to support air- and spaceports to make travel much easier in the long run, and to, most importantly, ensure the eternal protection of Elijah's resting place.
