Athlon was Lovely and Psychotic?

The "Crown Dependency of Psycotia" was a territory of the Kingdom of Lovely. It was invaded by the Order of the Armored Goats during the War of Matbaic Liberation.

The Order settled and expanded across the island, founding cities with names to celebrate the conquest. A crusader kingdom was established and named Athlon.

Indeed. This beautiful island was once crawling with the unwashed barbarians of that brutish and nearly forgotten kingdom. The Lovely-Psycotians that stayed behind gave Athlon one of its more enduring national treasures: the unique beauty of our people. When the founding Knights began intermarrying with the local men and women, they noticed their children were all exceptionally healthy and energetic. Doctors from the mainland came to study this intermingling and found that the vastly different genetics of the Natopians and the Lovelians combined to compensate for genetic aberrations that accumulate naturally over time within both populations. Over a few generations, the Athlonians, thanks to their exception health, warm climate, and bountiful lands, became naturally beautiful, attractive, and physically fit. Although we thank Bous for our health and good fortune, it has unfortunately brought us some unintended side effects. Athlonian servants are often hired away from the island to work on the mainland, as I once was. Although most Athlonians are seldom hired away for exclusively sexual purposes, gossip and rumor spread and we have unfairly earned a reputation as a people of prostitutes.

Now that he is dead I can speak publicly on the matter: Although the Knights of the Goat served under oath to Nathan and he was for a time King of this Island and the Ruler of our Church, his harem of Athlonian men damaged our reputation and culture in the eyes of the world. We are forced to endure visits from foreigners, seeking good times, acting coarsely. Most of these foreigners come from sexually-oppressed cultures in the North, and although we pity their misfortunes the nature of their visit weighs heavy on our hearts. Although we have liberal views on sexuality, as is dictated to us by the Word of Bous, I know my people hurt under this unfair label.

I hope to change the direction of Athlon, but I know it will be difficult to undo what Nathan has done here.

A High Priestess wishes to convey that she has discovered that Matbaa has deleted its forum and its wiki, but she found this post on Stormark's forum in which you inform His Imperial and Royal Majesty the he has been promoted to Knight Commander of the Most Noble Order of the Yoshi for the aid that he provided aid to Natopia during the War of Matbaic Liberation.

She has also found the promotion post on an old Natopian forum.

It is unfortunate the records for that war are lost. HIRM Harald still enjoys membership in the Order as a lasting testament to many past services to the Natopian People.

The first knights were inducted into the Order of the Yoshi on Aug 23, 2005. So unfortunately that's also Natopia day.

The Order was greatly expanded on Nov 23 2006 with the introduction of the medals and 10 inductees. It was in honor of thanking foreign nations for their help and was presented on Thanksgiving Day.

The Natopian-Elw calendar goes in a cycle of twelve years... we could be sort of Chinesey and have each year represent something on a "Zodiac". And Yoshi might for example be a very important constellation in Natopian astronomy/astrology... So the Year of the Yoshi, and then years of eleven other things

However, that was made under the old Calendar, and it was dumb so let's go with the 12 year cycles.
