6.IV.1647
Beginning on 1647.6451 AN.ASC the SANE led Coalition has carried out precision strikes on regime positions in North Dalmacija and South Island. In a strike on Port Nevermore, a hit on regime stockpiles of chemical munitions appears to have precipitated some kind of incident in the town itself. The Joint Military Council naturally regrets any loss of civilian lives and will be reviewing its operational procedures. However it must be stressed that it was the decision of the Jing regime to stockpile weapons of mass destruction in urban population centres. We have no comment to make about the reported destruction of hospitals.
Since the beginning of the Purge of his own regime, armed forces and civil society, the Mingshi Emperor has been reliant upon the Siseranist Tegong and various monks to act as the avatars of his misrule in occupied Kildare. It is therefore regrettably necessary for the Joint Military Council to instruct the Apollonia Command that its priorities for the next week shall be the kinetic dissolution of the Siseran and Catologican monasteries of Apollonia.
The Joint Military Council and the Permanent Commission have raised no objection to the Shirerithian proposal to establish an Apollonian State of Kildare. On the contrary we look forward to the raising of native auxiliary regiments amongst the Kildari and aiding them in the expulsion of the Jingdaoese from their midst.
To date there have been no reported coalition casualties. For the Jingdaoese, we estimate that 1,000 military and merchant marine personnel were killed along with 1,000 civilians who perished in the aftermath of the raid on Port Nevermore. We believe that approximately 180 monks were killed or wounded in an attack on the palaces of Sankt-Simon. We of course make no effort to count those on the enemy side who have died at the whim of the Mingshi Emperor himself since the beginning of the conflict, since that number is likely to be considerably larger.
