Verdrag met Hazar

Ik heb de eer u dit verdrag ter goedkeuring voor te leggen:

Treaty of friendship and non-aggression between the Federal Republic of Hazar and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia

The Hazarbashi of the Federal Republic of Hazar,
The President of the Islamic Republic of New Batavia,

having come into contact with one another, and finding their interests to be coincident, do desire to formalize and secure their cordial feelings, do desire to live as good and friendly neighbours, have agreed as follows:

Article 1. The Federal Republic of Hazar and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia recognize the other's sovereignty and right to self-rule of its state, its peoples, and its government institutions.

Article 2. The Federal Republic of Hazar and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia recognize one another as the rightful owner of all territory that they claim on the MCS map with the consent of the Council of the MCS.

Article 3. The Federal Republic of Hazar and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia commit to resolve all mutual disputes peacefully, using a neutral third party agreed to by both should this prove impossible by normal channels.

Article 4. The Federal Republic of Hazar and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia shall remain open and accessible to tourists and other visitors from one another, barring national emergencies or other such security issues.

Article 5. The Federal Republic of Hazar and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia shall have proper and open channels of communication so to facilitate dialogue and future cooperation.

Article 6. The Federal Republic of Hazar and the Islamic Republic of New Batavia shall not engage in or sponsor any covert or overt military activity against the peoples or government institutions of the other.

Article 7. This treaty may only be amended, revised, enlarged and expanded upon the concurrence of both signatory parties. Any contrary action or measure shall be null and void.

Article 8. This treaty shall enter into force upon ratification of both signatories in accordance with their native constitutional procedures.

Article 9. The signatory parties may repeal this treaty on the condition of a notice of two Gregorian weeks.

In witness whereof, the aforementioned parties have signed their names and affixed their seals.

Gezien de recente uitspraak van het Hooggerechtshof, zal ik de behandeling van dit voorstel schorsen tot er een vertaling voorhanden is.

Dit is de vertaling van het voorgestelde verdrag:

Vriendschaps- en niet-aanvalsverdrag tussen de Federale Republiek Hazar en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië

De Hazarbashi van de Federale Republiek Hazar,
De President van de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië,

elkaar ontmoet hebbend, elkaars belangen gemeenschappelijk vindend, verlangend om hun hartelijke contacten te formaliseren en te verzekeren, verlangen als goede buren samen te leven en zijn overeen gekomen hetgeen volgt:


Artikel 1: De Federale Republiek Hazar en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië erkennen elkaars soevereiniteit and het recht op zelfbestuur van hun staat, hun volkeren en van hun overheidsinstellingen.

Artikel 2: De Federale Republiek Hazar en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië erkennen elkaar als de rechtmatige eigenaar van al het grondgebied dat zij opvorderen op de kaart van de MCS en met toestemming van de Raad van de MCS.

Artikel 3: De Federale Republiek Hazar en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië verbinden zich ertoe om alle onderlinge geschillen vredevol op te lossen, gebruik makend van een door hun beide aangeduide derde neutrale partij, indien dit langs normale kanalen onmogelijk blijkt.

Artikel 4: De Federale Republiek Hazar en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië blijven open en toegankelijk voor elkaars toeristen en andere bezoekers, met uitzondering van nationale noodsituaties and situaties met betrekking tot de veiligheid.

Artikel 5: De Federale Republiek Hazar en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië zullen formele communicatiekanalen open houden ten einde dialoog en samenwerking in de toekomst mogelijk te maken.

Artikel 6: De Federale Republiek Hazar en de Islamitische Republiek Nieuw-Batavië zullen geen open of geheime militaire operaties tegen elkaars volkeren of overheidsinstellingen houden noch ondersteunen.

Artikel 7: Dit verdrag kan enkel worden geamendeerd, herzien, vergroot of uitgebreid na het akkoord van beide ondertekenende partijen. Elke tegengestelde actie is nietig.

Artikel 8: Dit verdrag zal in werking treden na de ratificatie ervan door beide ondertekenende partijen in overeenstemming met hun nationale grondwettelijke procedures.

Artikel 9: De ondertekenende partijen kunnen dit vedrag opzeggen op voorwaarde van een vooropzeg van twee Gregoriaanse weken.

Ten blijke waarvan, hebben de voormelde partijen genaamtekend en hun zegels aangehecht.
