Bio: Greg Prown served as a Conservative Senator in the 2nd Royal Senate. He leans to the left of the Republican Party and advocates for consensus-driven politics.

Umen Saryaan
Former Senator in the Royal Senate
Faction: Republican Centre
Slogan: 1678 - year for change
Bio: Umen Saryaan is a moderate Republican voice who has been critical of the current governor's "passive and do-nothing" style. While advocating for traditional Republican policies, he has distanced himself from the right of the party that has closer links to the Loyalist League.

Flamela Ogan
Former Senator in the Royal Senate
Faction: Republican Heart
Slogan: Republican Leadership for Northern Klaasiya.
Bio: Coming from the solid right of the Republican movement, Flamela Ogan has built a career from her spicy attacks on the Democratic party's policies. She believes that it is time to "overhaul" the politics of Northern Klaasiya and install "real Republican Leadership for Northern Klaasiya".

Therefore, Umen Saryaan has been chosen as the Republican Party nominee for the 1678 Gubernatorial election.
