The Honourable Members of the House of Deputies and the House of Representatives, attest and confirm this
Protection of the Natural World Act 006
WHEREAS it is imperative for us as human beings to live in a sustainable way, We do by this Act
Require the Governor to establish an executive Department for Nature Conservation and the Environment (DNCE) by the end of the current year;
Make a provision that DNCE shall be headed by a Secretary (DNCE Secretary) who shall oversee policy ideation and implementation;
Make a provision that the DNCE Secretary shall be nominated by the Governor and confirmed separately by both Houses;
Make a provision that the DNCE Secretary shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor and so long as he or she may enjoy the confidence of either the House of Deputies or the House of Representatives;
Grant unto the DNCE responsibilities to implement lawful and legal policies for the protection and conservation of the natural world, to support and ensure the wellbeing of the animals, plants, and other living things existing in nature and not made or caused by people;
Grant unto the DNCE Secretary the right to ensure the DNCE fulfils its responsibilities in a lawful, legal and morally responsible way in accordance with and on the advice of the Governor;
Make a provision that the DNCE may, in addition to its other responsibilities, advice the Governor to establish and disestablish natural parks, define and re-define their borders, and any such other measures as may be necessary to protect the natural world and life within said national parks;
Grant unto the Governor the right to approve or reject such advice, and implement any such provisions that he or she sees necessary to protect the natural world and life within said national parks.
