List of Designated Terrorist Organizations (Incomplete)

Post by Shiro »

In 1678 AN, the central government released a list of international organizations that are deemed by the Royal Government in Dragos to be terrorists either by nature of deviant religious principles, a history of terrorist-related actions, aggressive (harmful) group rules or creed, or operational methods that amount to terrorist tendencies. In response to the Iron Company's attack on a minor portion of the Glacier City dockyards in 1675 after a hard break in relations with the Company, the government swiftly realized that, due to Ralgon membership in the USSO, the country had acquired intelligent, organized enemies outside of its traditionally defined borders. These new enemies fell outside the paradigm of fighting the world's monsters, and represented a new sort of threat: some of the very people that were a part of the world the Ralgons claimed for centuries to protect.

These new enemies out in the world were organized, and they were strong in their own defenses. They were capable of using terrorism and other forms of suberfuge to gain an edge in fear over the Ralgon people and over others through their actions. Therefore, the Ralgon government began an official crackdown on such organizations within their own borders that originated from the outside world, as a part of their publicly declared mission to keep the world safe from such individuals and organizations.

The following individuals, organizations, and countries have (in chronological order) been designated as Terrorist Groups by the Ralgon Government:

1. The Iron Company (Listed as a Terrorist Group in 1675 AN), for their attack on one of the Glacier City dockyards on their way out of the country, following cessation of trade. Since its listing, its members have been hunted on waters controlled by Ralgon and its territories beyond the seas. Persecution has wound down, however, since the Company's apparent run-in with extreme misfortune in the years since.

-------------------------

Following the villification of the Iron Company in its former home regions for its pro-Verionist history beginning in 1675 by countries (former and current) within the Raspur Pact, the Ralgon government has declined to denounce any soveriegn nation-state within Micras for having harbored them until that point, instead praising them for their actions in expelling the Iron Company for its belligerent policies.

Ralgon authorities have attempted to normalize relations with potential trade partners in an effort to secure a safe sea and land route directly between the Island of Dragos and Jingdao, while avoiding the reclusive Verionist Empire at all costs in their current national quest to secure new colonies far removed from the dangers the Ralgons constantly experience very close to home.

Shiro I, Emperor of Ralgon
