The following notice is distributed by the Political Operations Bureau on behalf of the Army of the Southern League. All questions appertaining to this statement are to be addressed in the first instance to the officiating Mobad of the Zurvanist Congregation of Ardashirshahr as designated intermediary.

Committed to the democratic values and unity of our Imperial Republic, the Army of the Southern League today announces its intention to offer letters of protection and safe conduct to all candidates, representatives, and functionaries of the political parties listed on the schedule appended to this notice, as well as to election officials in the employ of the Imperial Government.
The Southern League will only use reasonable and proportionate force against those groups and individuals who knowingly collude with foreign powers or who seek to persecute, contrary to natural justice, those eminent patriots who have made hard choices in the service of the Imperial Republic.
The Southern League does not endorse any individual political party and is supportive of the democratic rights and suffrage of all loyal denizens and citizens.

Guarantee of Safe Passage and Conduct
Candidates, officials and registered activists of the following political parties shall be afforded unrestricted freedom of movement, subject only to temporary limitations of operational necessity, in the free areas of the Counties of Alalehzamin, Araxion, Utasia and Vattnaland:

Democratic Alliance-Verionist Union
Elwynnese Workers' Party
Nationalist and Humanist Party
Reform Society
Union for Truth and Beauty
No guarantee can be given outside of the above listed areas save that no civilian in Elwynn will be targeted by the Southern League on account of their affiliation with any of the above named political parties.
Since the year 1634, all gauges of piping and tubing produced within the Emirate of Alalehzamin have been manufactured with the capacity of withstanding at least 60 000 psi.
For the past seven months, since the declaration of a state of heightened security in the Emirate, machine shops in Allswell, Ardashirshahr, Aslanshahr, Ismailabad & Tielion Loki, have been engaged in fixing breechblocks, firing pins, extraction levers, triggers, gun-rails and iron sights onto lengths of standardised piping presented by volunteers who responded to the muster. The Mk 1 Standardised Rifle has now officially been certified and entered into service. Volunteers who have handled the weapon have expressed many clear opinions about its potential lethality and the Inspector-General of the Armoury Directorate has declared himself satisfied with the ruggedness and reliability of the weapon in the field.

The commander of the faithful in Vattnaland, Isabella Merrick, grand-daughter to the Great Conducator, who has taken up the sword in defence of the true religion, and the sacred cause of humanity, reports that her fedayeen bravely stormed the citadels of degeneracy and schism in the wretched city of Frieden on the first day of Kanam.

An Announcement Concerning the Sale of Impure Goods
Let it be known by all persons in the free Elwynn that it is a great crime to sell impure and adulterated goods to the Army of the Southern League, to its agents, and to the authorised representatives of the civil authorities.
At Malexander have been burnt with their own wares four fuel brokers who sought to increase their profit by diluting petroleum with kerosene.
Videos have been uploaded to the BDN. Let all persons profit by this lesson. If any person suspects another of selling adulterated fuel, or any necessary consumables that have been made tainted or impure for reasons of profit or sabotage, let them report their suspicions to the Finance Directorate of the General Army Headquarters for further investigation. Reports will be taken in confidence and rewards will be bestowed for those who help expose the defrauders of our sacred struggle.
An Announcement Concerning Sobriety
It is important for all persons pledged to the cause of the holy struggle to remain sober whilst in the uniform of the Southern League or engaged in active operations on its behalf. By succumbing to the lure of intoxication you risk not only your own safety but the lives of your comrades and the mission you have pledged your life and your soul to see to fruition.
From this date forward, officers are authorised to dispense summary judgement upon any person found to be intoxicated whilst on duty. At the third offence in any given troop or company the remaining men will draw lots and be subjected to decimation.
As recompense officers may, at their discretion and subject to operational considerations, grant to their men three days licence in any settlement that does not effect a prompt surrender when commanded to do so.
The Army Council of the Southern League recognises and appreciates the prudent and statesman-like decision of the Landsraad to support the Nationalist and Humanist Party's call for a general amnesty for all parties in the Elwynnese Civil War.
Recognising the potential of the current situation and in order to enhance the democratic process and in celebration of the Kaiser's coronation, the Army Council has decided that as of midnight there will be a complete cessation of all non-defensive military operations on the Midlands and Northern Fronts. The Southern Front has also been instructed to cease all non-defensive operations in Alalehzamin. All our units have been instructed accordingly. This order shall not apply to those cadres engaged presently in the struggle to liberate Malarboria from the tyranny of daemonic rule.
The Army Council salutes and commends our volunteers, other activists, our supporters and the martyrs who have sustained the struggle for a year against all odds.
Whereas no guarantee of safe conduct has been received for the delegation invited to attend negotiations in Shirekeep, the Army Council of the Southern League accordingly announces the resumption of hostilities which shall continue until such time as our terms are satisfied.
The Kaiser, with the arrogance of youth and influenced by bad advice, acts beyond his powers in presuming to order the Elwynnese Senate to assemble outside of the Republic. Those Senators who have unwisely already passed into Raynor's Keep do so effectively as hostages to his whim and that of his Steward. The reasonable request of the Southern League for a reciprocal hostage of sufficient standing to guarantee the safety and well-being of the Imperial Mother has been met with the wholly unsatisfactory offer of one of the Conducators, a commoner, in return.
Aside from the mob, only the Countess of Shirekeep has any meaningful power in the Imperial Capital. Only her kin will be sufficient to guarantee the safety of the Imperial Mother at these irregular talks - we will not acknowledge these negotiations as a formal session of the Senate - and constitute evidence of the sincerity of what remains of the Imperial Government.
The corrupting Ayreonist clique, whether in Batavia or Elwynn, speaks its liberal virtue with a forked tongue. We will negotiate only when meaningful hostages and sensible proposals are offered.
