Codifying our public morals and values

Post by Raz »

Lingyu dixiong,
Zhu,

Perhaps it is time to make a law that stipulates the morals and values we hold in common? Like how we as a nation think about marriage, social participation and so on?

*Zhang San, Diwang of the Empire, nodded slowly. He was deep in thought, but ultimately opened his mouth.*

"Lingyu dixiong,
Zhu,

I agree that our way of living is one of truly great importance. Laying those fundamentals down in a code shall help us and our citizens in reaching the Eternal Heaven. The preachings of past Emperors, and our current Heavenly Light, are too important to ever be forgotten. Writing those down shall also aid those who are new in our Empire, but seek guidelines to live a proper and wealthy life.

I propose we first make a list of important issues to mention. Let us not follow the barbarian foreign ways, but pave our own path in this matter."

Joseph Bartholomeus des Vinandy-Windsor, Prince-Regent of Batavia

Some of the values we hold are related to the subject of sexuality:

That we want to see all our citizens marry into an equal relationship between man and woman with the intent to create more loyal subjects to the Heavenly Light.

That we are a tolerant society towards those that are born with the sexual deviance of homosexuality, that we encourage a gay and a lesbian to wed together, so they can create offspring but also give each other room for monogamous romantic love outside marriage. But that we also have no room for the sins that are committed in other nations.

*The honourable zhu all seem to agree and shake their heads.*

"Agreed! These values are, of course, of utmost importance! The Jing People needs loyal subjects. Our children are the most important asset in liberating this world from evil."
