D-1019-1 Adopting the New Common Calendar

DICTATE BY THE COUNCIL OF DRIFTWOOD
Providing law to the land and the people of the Alriggian Republic.


Accepted on the third day of the tenth month of the two-thousand and nineteenth year of our Lord. Being the 1677th year of the New Common Calendar.


The Council of Driftwood makes known that it has adopted the New Common Calendar for all official purposes, with the exception of the naming and dating of its own dictates. This includes, but is not limited to, the reading of Dictate D-818-1 with regards of the terms of the president, which shall be six New Common Calendar years. The Alriggian Republic shall not recognize any names given to the months of the New Common Calendar, but instead refer to them by their ordinal numbers.
