[[Motion]] Proposal to boost the economy

Post by sick39ed »

The Florian Senate will now move on the proposal by Adam Cooke to boost the Florian economy.
Dear Senators of the Florian Republic.

This is a proposal to boost the economy of the Florian Republic. It will be achieved by the following:
1.The cooperate tax rate of the country will be reduced from 35% to 25% and will be implemented in March with the two months before to be designated as preparation time.
2.Innovation in the country will now be heavily promoted by the Florian government as it has been proven to boost economic growth. It is vital that the Florian Republic pursues these policies that promote innovation to ensure that there will be enough prosperity to carry on into the next generation despite our current hardship.
3.A stricter and strategic immigration reform. The Florian Republic needs more skilled immigrants willing to start living in our country. The Florian Republic has wasted opportunities to bring skilled foreign workers to our country, therefore we should encourage skilled workers from abroad which could potentially boost our economy.
4.Force unemployed workers to volunteer in the reconstruction process. The Florian Republic will not fix itself, our citizens are needed! If they contribute to the reconstruction effort there is an increased chance that we will help them in finding a job in the future as they gain more skills, contacts and references.
