I have undertaken trade missions to Shireroth and Constancia:
* http://bastionunion.org/forum/viewtopic ... 99#p155699 (Shireroth)
* http://bastionunion.org/forum/viewtopic ... 00#p155700 (Constancia)
The purpose of these trade missions is to further develop trade between Vosenuvitia and provinces of each these nations, as well as to secure refueling privileges at their sea ports.
May we hope that this will be a fruitful endeavor.

Shireroth Official's Unfortunate Respone to Trade Mission
I have become aware that Viscount Myn of Shireroth has rejected my trade mission:
http://bastionunion.org/forum/viewtopic ... 06#p155706
Since I wish to avoid an incident, I have departed from Shireroth. However, I have issued a private message to Viscount Myn concerning this matter and politely outlining next steps. The fact is that Shireroth dominates much of trade on Micras due to its geographical scope. Therefore, I hate that pursuit of trade with the might be stopped by some minor, well, bureaucratic misunderstanding. We remain hopeful that we can have success in this matter however.

Breaking New: The Esubarcn Breaks Shireroth Trade Impasse
Published by the Vosenuvitia District News Service:
Vosenuvitia District News Service wrote: The Esubarcn of Vosenuvitia, T Enothwocep, was successful today, in his both brilliant and valiant, some might even say magical in its genius and success, overcoming of the impasse in Vosenuvitia's trade talks with Shireroth. Esubarcn T Enothwocep not only very correctly but also very convincingly outlined to Malliki nur Pinito, Viscount of Myn, the reasons why trade talks should continue.

With these developments, Vosenuvitia, now has an assured line of communication to the office of Viscount Myn, which means negotiations will now be able to continue unimpeded.

If Treisenberg is really meant to be neutral, why are trade missions made to Shireroth, but not to Jingdao?

I will assume message delivered via courier since we see no visa app.Hai Emperor wrote:If Treisenberg is really meant to be neutral, why are trade missions made to Shireroth, but not to Jingdao?
Treisenberg, per HRH Valian's orders, remains totally neutral.
Basically, I am told by our Trade Office, that they thought both Shireroth and Apollonian were too volatile and unsophisticated in commerce to be worth of trade missions. However, when they looked at a map, they saw a ring of Shirerithian islands surrounding northern Cibola, and concluded that there was no way to avoid a mission to Shireroth about trade. Hence a trade mission was sent to Shireroth. If you would like to purchase Vosenuvitian produced products, I would advise contacting the Commerce Commissar of the Policon, who could provide you info on how to interface with the economy of fellow Policon member Passio-Corum.
In short because geography.
I hope this is an adequate explanation.

Jingdao has settlements near Cibola as well.

I have received word that Greater Pallisican Trade Association has approved a trade agreement with Vosenuvitia.
In regards to Constancia, talks there have been met with delays. We believe the influx of Alexandrians has resulted in Constancia acquiring some of Alexandria's preference for long and drawn out proceedings. In any case we have determined that trade ties with Constancia are no longer necessary at this time. The Greater Pallisican Trade Association is capable of all that Constancia is capable of.

A new trade mission has been opened with Caputia, successor state to Hamland, after recent communication with a Caputian Envoy.
Since Caputia is, like Vosenuvitia, itself containing lots of mineral resources, we plan to discuss how to ensure fair pricing and distribution protocols, as an advocate for the needs of the proletariat.
