Ducal Decree: Calezi to President and First Secretary

AYREON IV, by the Divine Design of Butauros, Eternal Kaiser of Shireroth, Imperial Duke of Brookshire, who, by this Imperial Instrument, gives unto his subjects and retainers, greetings, and unto the ancient gods of Shireroth, all due respect and honour.

Know ye that We make this Instrument in the name of the Holy Saints of Nathaniel the Returned-and-then-again-Departed, Elijah the Blessed, Nathan the Once-Living God, and all other Holy Saints and Martyrs, whose allegiance and respect We eternally owe. Acow.

DUCAL DECREE:
Calezi to President of the Council of Ministers and First Secretary of the Kehl

Whereas the People of Brookshire in the election of 1656 elected the Duke of Calezi to President of the Council of Ministers of the Imperial Duchy of Brookshire, We do ratify that decision by appointing the Rt Hon The Duke of Calezi to President of the Council of Ministers.

Furthermore, whereas the Rt Hon the First Secretary of the Kehl has ceased to be a citizen of the Imperial Republic, that position is vacant, and given the trust that the People have placed in the Duke of Calezi, We hereby appoint to First Secretary of the Kehl the Rt Hon the Duke of Calezi.

The First Secretary of the Kehl is tasked with notarizing the decisions of the Kehl and acting as the accredited representative of the Government of the Imperial Duchy to the Imperial Court and other bodies.

The First Secretary shall, whenever there is a Regency of the Imperial Republic, act as Regent for the Duke of Brookshire for the duration of the Regency of the Imperial Republic.

Given at the Keep sixteenth day of the fifteenth month in the year after the death of Norton one thousand six hundred and sixty-three.
