Statement on the "Ergonian aggression"

We have received reports on hostile navy activity in the territorial waters of Passio-Corum and Talenore. The affected nations claim to be attacked by Ergonia, and while the attackers made use of the Ergonian flag the Ergonian government refuses that it has participated. The Tègong has verified the statement that Captain Poldark cannot be tied to Ergonia, this is correct.

We are aware of the ties some of the clans in Kildare have to Talenore, dating back to the days when Kildare and Talenore were allied. We remind those clans that Kildare has been subjugated by Jingdao and has no right to conduct its own diplomacy, and has certainly no right to drag Jingdao into an escalating conflict. We welcome diplomats from both Talenore and Ergonia to explain their position in this conflict and why the Holy Grand Empire would reap the benefits of an alliance with them. Until the Holy Grand Empire has formally sided, or risks to be attacked, we will remain neutral in this conflict.
