Jingdaoese Convention on Person Rights

Post by Raz »

The great Treisenbergian philosopher has posed the following:
Markus Doltrue wrote:I have been concerned that there are agreements on everything on Micras but not person rights. I call them "person rights" because, after all, humans are not the only sentient species on Micras. I propose the following treaty:
The Micrasian Convention on Person Rights

Within the borders of the Signatory:
1. Everyone has the right to liberty, life, and security of person.
2. No one shall be held in slavery.
3. No one shall be subjected to cruel and unusual punishment.
4. All persons have the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.
5. All are equal before the law.
6. All are entitled to a fair and just trial.
7. All have a right to privacy.
8. All have a right to freedom of movement.
9. Everyone has a right to leave the Signatory and return to the Signatory.
10. Everyone has a right to freedom of speech.

Representatives of the Signatories:
Signed x_____________________________
Signed x_____________________________
Signed x_____________________________
Signed x_____________________________
Signed x_____________________________
Signed x_____________________________
and so on
Moreover while not designed as such, this could be incorporated into the MTO collection if the MTO is interested in that.
The Imperial Yuan is requested to provide advice.

"This truly is a proposal in the spirit of Jingdaoese liberty and equality! I only doubt that other countries would be as progressive as us."

The Imperial Palace advises the Imperial Yuan not to continue with this proposal. The author behind this document champion the idea that the Jingdaoese Empire has ceased to be an independent empire and is instead now a mere province of the Policon of the USSO. It seems likely that the author is a Shirerithian or, worse, Natopian pawn, merely seeking to wreak havoc in our nations.
