Question regarding foreign status

Post by Jonas »

Honourable zhu,

After having looked at the list which was published by the Grand Secretariat concerning the Imperial Tributary System, a few questions come to mind:
1. Why do the nations of Eklesia, Inner Benacia and Hoenn hold the Hun-status?

2. Why does Los Bananos hold Chu-hun status, while their administration clearly is expressing an aggressive policy towards Jingdaoese and rewriting history to make our benevolent rule look like bad?

Let it be clear: I'm not advocating a change in the statuses, but am just curious of the reasoning. This could aid them in becoming proper, pure nations.
Important characters:
Frederik Alfons des Vinandy-Paravel, King of Batavia
Joseph Bartholomeus des Vinandy-Windsor, Prince-Regent of Batavia
Jin San, Diwang of Jingdao, Duke of Kildare

Zhu,

The Republic of Inner Benacia is possibly a hun-nation because of their allegiance to the Raspur Pact. The Hoenn nation celebrates sentient beings, which is contrary to the natural order in which the humans lead by the Heavenly Light were given Micras to dominate. It is not known why the other two nations were added to the list, they are both insignificant nations whose position could have been determined by an intern.

Los Bananos holds chu-hun status precisely because of the points you mention. The fact that they have these policies was not considered to be enough to call their entire nation impure, when some of the inhabitants still practice the Tianchaodao in secret. Of course, the flame of purity is dying there and they will become a hun-nation, which is exactly what chu-hun is meant to portray.
